A brow lift is a cosmetic enhancement procedures designed to target frown lines and lines across the forehead which are generally caused by muscle movement.

It also raises the eyebrows slightly, giving a more youthful appearance to the upper part of the face, and can reduce the appearance of hooded eyes.

Brow Lift: the procedure

A brown lift operation usually takes several hours to complete and involves a 1 night stay in hospital. Following the operation you will experience some pain and discomfort, but this can be helped by prescribed medication.

The procedure can be performed in several ways:

• Traditional AKA ‘classic’ AKA open (incision hidden behind the hairline)
• Endoscopic (using a camera to make smaller incisions)

Depending on your occupation you should take at least 2 weeks off work and avoid any strenuous activity/exercise for up to 6 weeks following the operation.
