At Vale Healthcare our goal is to provide comprehensive, and high quality care in a happy and relaxed atmosphere which reduces anxiety and helps to make a speedy recovery for children and young people aged between 3 – 16 years of age.
Our approach is child and family focused. We aim to support and involve families and their child in the process of diagnosis, treatment and caring thereby removing much of the stress which can occur when your child needs medical attention.
Our team of professionals offer a tailor made service to suit the needs of the individual child and covers physical, medical, developmental and emotional wellbeing.

Specialist Paediatric Spinal Service
We have highly-skilled Spinal Surgeons who provide a comprehensive assessment and surgical opinion service for all children with spinal-related conditions including common childhood deformities such as scoliosis.

Paediatric Orthopaedic services
Our Paediatric Orthopaedic surgeons can deal with common problems such as flat feet and fractures as well as clubfoot, congenital hip problems and sports injuries. They are supported by a team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists, and podiatrists and work closely with their rheumatology and neurology colleagues to ensure a fully integrated assessment and treatment approach. In addition to this children's service, Vale Healthcare is also home to a specialist Baby Hip Clinic services, which is for babies aged 0-3 months.

Urology service for children
Our Paediatric Urologists provide a specialist service for the diagnosis and management of children with urological disorders. Commonly seen disorders range from urinary incontinence, circumcisions, undescended testis, hydrocoele, varicocoele and urinary tract infections.

Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) service for children
Our specialist Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) consultants provide care for children with a wide range of problems including 'glue ear', Otitis media, surgical correction of congenital ear anomalies, neck cysts and lumps, sinus and voice disorders, through to common tonsillitis and adenoid surgery.

Specialist Dermatology service for children
Our Dermatology consultants offer diagnosis and treatment for children with all types of skin disease or cosmetic problems of the skin, scalp, hair or nails for example; birthmarks, eczema, psoriasis, and common disorders of pigmentation.

Children's Physiotherapy
In association with Move2Learn, Vale Healthcare offers specialised Physiotherapy services for babies, children and young people. This children’s physiotherapy service is provided by our experienced Paediatric physiotherapist who has 25 years of experience of working with children and their families.
