As well as his private dermatology clinics in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan's leading private hospital - the Vale Hospital - Dr Christian Aldridge is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.

Dr Aldridge runs weekly dermatology clinics here at the Vale Hospital, Hensol, South Wales, near Cardiff, treating Skin Cancer and providing Mole checks and Skin Cancer surveillance. He also provides Dermatology Surgery services to arrange removal of moles and skin cancers.

Christian is a Consultant Dermatologist at Prince Charles Hospital (Merthyr Tydfil), and is a private Dermatology Consultant at the Vale Hospital (located in Hensol, in the Vale of Glamorgan).

Dr Alun Evans

Dr Alun Evans is a Consultant Dermatologist who runs private Dermatology consultation appointments from Vale Healthcare's Cardiff based site - the Cardiff Bay Clinic.

Before joining the team at Vale Healthcare as a private dermatology specialist, Dr Alun Evans qualified as a doctor in London in 1994 and undertook his speciality training in the treatment of skin conditions at the Institute of Dermatology at St Thomas’ Hospital, London.

Following his speciality training, he also completed a clinical fellowship in Dermatological Surgery and Lasers at the Institute of Dermatology, later relocating to South Wales to continue his dermatology specialism.

He has been trained in London and the United States in the use of Botox and Sclerotherapy. Experienced in all aspects of dermatology, with special interests in skin cancer and cutaneous surgery.

Experienced in all aspects of dermatology, Dr Evans offers private cosmetic laser treatments such as tattoo removal, thread vein treatment and hair removal, successfully treating patients from Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and all South Wales.

He returned to Wales in 2004 to take up a consultant post at the Princess of Wales and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals. He now heads the Dermatology Laser Service at the Princess of Wales Hospital which receives referrals from across South Wales and the West Country.

Dr Colin Long

Dr Colin Long is a Consultant Dermatologist at Vale Healthcare, and runs clinics with Vale Healthcare primarily the Cardiff Bay Clinic. Dr Long provides specialist private treatment for all skin conditions from his private dermatology clinics in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, at Vale Healthcare. Dr Long is a Consultant Dermatologist at Cardiff & the Vale NHS Trust and also works at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. He is interested in all aspects of Dermatology including the management of inflammatory skin disorders (rashes) such as eczema, psoriasis, urticaria and acne as well as the surgical treatment of benign and malignant skin tumours.

Dr Andrew Morris

Dr Andrew Morris is a Consultant Dermatologist, practicing throughout Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and south Wales and as a private dermatology consultant at Vale Healthcare, Cardiff and South Wales' leading private clinics and private hospital for the treatment of skin conditions including skin cancer, mole removal and cutaneous surgery.

Andrew is a Consultant in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University Hospital of Wales (appointed 1994) and an honorary tutor in dermatology with Cardiff University.

Dr Morris is an expert in skin cancer and cutaneous (skin) surgery and is currently the Chair of the All Wales Skin Cancer Advisory Group advising the Minister for Health on skin cancer related issues. In addition to providing mole checks, skin cancer surveillance and treatment Dr Morris is one of the few UK dermatologists trained in Mohs’ Micrographic Surgery a specialised technique for difficult to treat skin cancers. Dr Morris has lectured internationally on skin cancer and cutaneous surgery.

His other interests include laser therapy, cosmetic dermatology, liposuction for severe underarm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis) and general dermatology.
