Welcome to the Hand and Wrist Clinic at Vale Healthcare

The Vale Healthcare Hand and Wrist Clinic is based in the heart of the Cardiff Bay, and provides an out-patient service providing expertise and high quality care for all patients with conditions affecting the upper limb.

The Hand and Wrist clinic is led by Mr Dean Boyce and  Mr David Shewring a Consultant Orthopedic Hand Specialist. Both consultants specialise in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of all conditions relating to the hand and wrist. At the clinic we deliver a commitment to the compassionate understanding of patients in pain and to the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of hand and wrist related disorders.

To ensure the highest quality of care, Mr Boyce and Mr Shewring provide medical and surgical care together with an experienced specialised hand occupational therapist and senior physiotherapists who provide the rehabilitation services.
