This hip surgery replaces diseased and damaged portions of the hip with implants designed to restore function to the hip joint

Total Hip Replacement

The hip joint has a wide range of movement and is subject to a range of disorders. Conditions that commonly lead to a hip joint replacement are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fracture of the neck of the femur. Hip replacement surgery provides a long term solution for worn or damaged hip joints.

Revision Hip Surgery

This surgery replaces worn artificial hip parts and damaged bone with new plastic or ceramic components. These new components restore normal joint stability.

Hip Arthroscopy Surgery

The Consultant uses a small camera (Arthroscope) which is inserted into the hip which allows access for investigation, diagnosis and treatment procedures.
