Mrs Jackie Brown

Jackie Brown is a chartered physiotherapist and acupuncture practitioner at Vale Healthcare, South Wales' leading private clinic and private hospital in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan for physiotherapy. 

Jackie trained at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1979 and worked in the NHS for many years until starting a family in 1987 when she opened her first private physiotherapy and acupunture practice.

Jackie has worked in the private healthcare sector since then and was first introduced to acupuncture in 1989 following her acupuncture training at The Centre for Complementary Medicine in Southampton, UK. Jackie has completed many postgraduate acupuncture courses over the years, has accumulated a high level of skill and experience, and has developed a real passion for women’s health particularly fertility related problems with increasing success.

Through this specialist training Jackie uses many different techniques and practice in a very gentle style. In 2006 Jackie was delighted to obtain her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture.

Jackie considers herself very fortunate to be able to work with health professionals from across the Western medicine and complementary spectrums, knowing where and when to refer when necessary. This ensures the right combination and integration of treatment for the best possible outcome for each patient.

 She is committed to delivering a high standard of treatment and is passionate about patient care.
