Vale Healthcare Sports Medicine team is able to offer in one location rapid access to facilities for sports screening, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and surgical treatment. With 6 consulting rooms, a fixed site MRI scanner, blood screening and cardiology testing among its many state-of-the-art facilities we are able to focus on rapid and positive patient outcomes.
Chronic soft tissue injury such as groin pain, chronic hamstring pain or patellar tendinopathy, or even general fatigue (just to name a few) may cause significant time lost from sport. We have treated thousands of athletes with sports medicine problems and have developed many diagnostic tests and surgical interventions to determine the right diagnosis and correct treatment for our patients.

Arthrex PRP Double Syringe Treatment
The Arthrex ACP Double Syringe System is used to obtain platelet rich plasma (PRP) from a patient’s blood, which is then re-injected under ultrasound guidance to promote the healing of tendon scar tissue. Sports Physician Dr Geoff Davies is providing this treatment at Vale Healthcare’s Cardiff Bay Clinic.

Shockwave Therapy Treatment
