The Former Vale Clinic Ltd

Vale Clinic Ltd was a private outpatient facility providing medical consultations, physiotherapy and diagnostic services.  Established in 2001 as a specialist medical outpatient facility, the clinic operated from the leisure club premises within the Vale of Glamorgan hotel complex at Hensol.

Formation of Vale Healthcare

On 22nd November 2007, the founders of Vale Clinic Ltd entered a joint venture with Nuffield Health and formed Vale Healthcare.

The joint venture combined the strengths of this national healthcare operator and well-established local clinic with the commitment of eminent consultants from the area, to make a major contribution towards addressing the needs of patients and clinicians in south Wales. 

Vale Healthcare's premises now including the Vale Hospital, Cardiff Bay Clinic, and the Vale Clinic - located within the Vale of Glamorgan hotel complex at Hensol.

In June 2010, Vale Healthcare opened the Vale Hospital, located in Hensol. This is a fully operational hospital, with 25 en-suite bedrooms, two operating theatres, and located within rural parkland, adjacent to the Vale of Glamorgan hotel complex.

Vale Healthcare is now part of Nuffield Health.
