CRGW (based in Llantristant) offers:
All assisted conception investigations and treatments including IVF (In Vito Fertilisation), ICSI (intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) OI/IUI (Ovulation Induction and Intrauterine Insemination). Semen analysis, sperm retrieval service including pesa, tesa and mesa and sperm freezing. Also egg freezing and storage for fertility preservation.
CRGW is Wales only standalone assisted conception unit dedicated entirely to all modern assisted conception techniques. Its team includes the only two recognized sub specialists in Reproductive Medicine in Wales, and an embryologist with over 18 years of experience. Unlike other clinics all consultations, treatment planning and treatments are carried out locally at CRMW
Vale Healthcare (based at the Vale Hospital, Hensol and Cardiff Bay Clinic) offers all aspects of:
- Gynaecological services, including diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, menstrual bleeding disorders, pelvic mass, pelvic pain and vaginal prolapse surgery.
- Andrology services including investigations and treatments for male reproductive and urological problems, erectile dysfunction, infertility and vasectomies and reversal of vasectomies etc.
- Early pregnancy assessment clinics, including 3D scanning.
Vale Healthcare and CRGW’s teams of highly specialised consultants, nursing and therapists work across both sites to ensure continuity of care and personalised service.
The teams are complimented by the support of Jackie Brown, a chartered physiotherapist and acupuncture practitioner, who has developed a passion for women’s health particularly fertility related problems.
